Drop cap... is an Addition that allows you to enlarge the initial character the selected paragraph so that two or more lines in tr paragraph wrap around i First use the text tool to select the paragraph you want to change and then choose the "Drop cap.. command to open the "Drop ca dialog box. For "Drop lines enter the number of lines you want wrap around the initial character (PageMaker determines the optimal height of the character based on that setting and on t type size and leading applied to the lines affected). When you click "OK, PageMaker changes the position of the character to subscript, shifts its baseline as appropriate, and inserts tabs and line breaks (soft returns) to create the drop cap effect.
